EvaluationKIT and Digital Measures comply with the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework and the Swiss-US Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the US Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of Personal Data transferred from EU and Switzerland to the United States, respectively. EvaluationKIT and Digital Measures have certified to the Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles, and as such is committed to subject all Personal Data received from the EU or Switzerland in reliance on this policy to the Privacy Shield Principles. EvaluationKIT and Digital Measures are responsible for the processing of personal data it receives, under each Privacy Shield Framework, and subsequently transfers to a third party acting as an agent on its behalf. EvaluationKIT and Digital Measures comply with the Privacy Shield Principles for all onward transfers of personal data from the EU and Switzerland, including the onward transfer liability provisions.

EvaluationKIT and Digital Measures collect information under the direction of its client educational institutions and have no direct relationship with the individuals whose personal data it processes. EvaluationKIT and Digital Measures work with their clients to help them provide notice to users concerning the purpose for which personal information is collected. EvaluationKIT and Digital Measures may transfer personal information to companies that help us provide our service. Transfers to subsequent third parties are covered by the service agreements with our clients.


To access EvaluationKIT systems, a client institution will create user accounts in our application, which contain personal information that include but are not limited to the following: first and last name, username, e-mail address, and which courses a user is enrolled in. A user account is required for a user to access our application, and then for users to appropriately access surveys within our application. Personal information is used to provide a user with this type of access.


EvaluationKIT and Digital Measures acknowledge that you have the right to access your personal information. An individual who seeks access or would like to correct, amend, or delete data, or withdraw consent for further contact should direct his/her query to the educational institution that is EvaluationKIT’s or Digital Measures’ client (the data controller). If the client requests that EvaluationKIT or Digital Measures remove the data, we will respond within a reasonable timeframe. EvaluationKIT and Digital Measures will retain personal information we process on behalf of its client organizations for as long as needed to provide services and as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

    • Information about your institution such as institution name, number of enrollments, and current learning management system
